Sharing and exporting
Share a creation through Clink Community, send a single hosted QR link, or export a file.
Clink for iOSShare with the community
Settings path: Home Community
- For a plugin, panel, action or automation, open the item in Plugins and select the Share tab beside its settings and script or rule. The Share tab opens the same export popup used for other creations. For other creations, open Share or Export to see the export card. You can also open Community from Home or General, tap Add, and choose a saved creation.
- Check the export preview. Every creation uses the same sharing controls and QR style as themes, with artwork suited to its contents. For a theme, turn on Aesthetic if you want to include your placed stickers.
- With Clink Pro, tap Share to Community below the preview options to submit directly for review. The button changes to Pending without opening another share sheet. The Share button at the top sends the QR card separately, and File exports a file. The QR link stays the same and works while the listing is Pending; approval adds it to the public gallery.
- Once approved, it appears in the app and on the Clink Community website. Touch and hold one of Your uploads and choose Remove to stop future imports.
Themes, aesthetics (a theme with its placed stickers), layouts, sounds, effects, fonts, languages, profiles, plugins, panels, actions and automations can be shared. When sharing a theme, turn on Aesthetic below the preview to include your placed stickers. The switch is unavailable when no visible stickers are placed. Their images, animations, positions, sizes and layers travel together; unused stickers in your library stay private. On import, leave Stickers on to replace your current sticker arrangement, or turn it off to import only the theme. Every public listing includes a preview. In the Community gallery, tap a preview or its download arrow to review the creation before importing. Sound previews have a separate Play button on the artwork. Themes get a keyboard preview automatically; layouts show their key arrangement on a transparent background; sounds show their mechanical switches and have a Play sound button on the website, while plugins, custom tools and panels have distinct artwork using their icon and description. Language cards show their language identity and arrangement; effect cards show a sample of their lighting. New non-keyboard previews have transparent backgrounds. These script cards show the creation’s identity, not a live execution of its behavior. Check the preview before uploading, as it will be visible on the website. Uploads and file imports happen only in Clink; the website has Open in Clink links rather than file downloads. A QR share stays off the public gallery unless you press Share to Community. The theme QR export card has the same Aesthetic toggle below it. Changing the toggle gently reveals or removes the stickers without replaying the QR animation, and updates the one QR link for the chosen contents. Share to Community is a button below Aesthetic in the same export screen. Images travel inside the private encrypted creation; recipients do not need the original image files. The website shows a public preview, so check it before sharing.
Tap Play on a sound card to hear it without installing it or changing your selected sound. Opening an existing export refreshes its review status. Once approved, its status is Community. Editing the creation and exporting it again makes a separate share with its own QR link and review; the previously approved copy stays unchanged. Submit the edited copy with Share to Community when it is ready. If you remove a hosted share, exporting the creation again makes a fresh private QR share. The old link stays removed, and the new copy needs its own Community review.
Export it
Exporting a file saves or sends a copy; it does not upload it to Community. To submit a public listing for review with Clink Pro, use Share to Community. Each file is exported from the screen that makes it: a theme from the theme editor, a layout from the layout editor, a profile from the profiles list, a sound pack from Sound and Feel. Plugins, panels, actions and automations also have a Share tab on their detail page: tap it to open the export popup, then choose File to send a copy. When sharing a theme from your current custom layout, Canvas edits carry to matching standard keys in the export preview and on the receiving keyboard. A blue 123 label and its chosen keycap style therefore stay with the standard number-switch key. Keep the layout you edited selected when exporting; if several keys with the same function have different Canvas edits, those individual styles stay with their original custom keys.
- Open the thing you made: a theme in the theme editor, a layout in the layout editor, a profile in Profiles.
- Choose the share or export option on that screen.
- Send the file however you like. It is small enough to go in a message.

QR code
Theme and layout QR sharing uploads the complete creation to ANTI and puts one short link in one QR code. Theme photos and key artwork travel with the theme; they do not turn into extra QR images. Creating or importing a hosted share needs an internet connection. If Clink cannot prepare a hosted QR code, choose File to send the creation instead. Scanning a hosted theme or layout opens its import preview; it does not apply the creation until you confirm.
- Choose QR code on the theme or layout sharing screen. Keep Clink open while it prepares the share.
- Share the single QR image, or scan it on the other phone. A website link opens Clink for import. On the Community website, use the QR code button on any entry to display its import link. Scan it with your phone’s camera, or save the QR image or a screenshot for later. If the link opens the website, choose Open in Clink.
- Review the creation in Clink, then choose Import. Membership requirements still apply.
Opening one you were sent
Open a shared file or scan its QR link with Clink. Check the preview in the import popup, then choose Import or Cancel. Layouts show their key arrangement without changing the preview to your current theme; sounds show their switch appearance. Shared settings let you create a new profile or replace your current settings. Personal imports need Membership. Only open files you trust.
Clink registers its file types with iOS, so Files, AirDrop, Messages and any share sheet offer to open one in Clink.
Only open files you trust
Only install panels, actions and plugins from people you trust. They can change how your keyboard behaves or transform text. Review the details and any permission requests before enabling one.
