Full Access
Full Access is optional for typing in Clink. Here is what it unlocks (haptics, clipboard, custom sounds), what works without it, and what never leaves the phone.
Clink for iOSWhat it turns on
Only needed for haptics, clipboard history and custom sounds. Everything else works without it, and Clink never sends your typing anywhere.
Clipboard history, sound packs of your own, the haptics Clink produces itself, GIF browsing, and writing a change back into the profile you are wearing.
What works without it
Typing, swipe typing, autocorrect, suggestions, emoji, themes, layouts, languages, the number row, split and one-handed. The keyboard is a whole keyboard either way.
Turning it on
- Open the Settings app.
- General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Clink → Allow Full Access
- Read what iOS says, then confirm.
Paste from Other Apps
iOS asks “Allow Paste?” every time Clink reads your clipboard. That's clipboard history, translating something you copied, and AI actions that work on copied text.
- Open the Settings app.
- Apps → Clink → Paste from Other Apps.
- Choose Allow, and iOS stops asking.
What it is never used for
Full Access is optional for typing. It enables clipboard features, custom feedback and cloud AI requests you choose to run. Suggestions and predictions stay on device.
There is no Clink account, no upload and nothing on the typing path that speaks to a server. That is true with the switch on and with it off.
