Emoji, GIFs and stickers
The emoji keyboard is Clink's own, so it opens in place instead of switching you to another keyboard and back.
Clink for iOSOpening it
Tap the emoji key, or swipe up on 123, to open emoji inside Clink. No second keyboard.
No switch to the system keyboard, no losing your place. The search field at the top finds one by name. On iOS, matching emoji also appear in the suggestion bar while you type. A match stays after Space, and tapping it replaces the matching word while preserving the space. Return or another line break clears it; starting a new word updates the match.

Default skin tone
Set the tone once and every emoji that has one follows it. You can still hold an emoji to pick a different tone for that one.
- Open Emoji in Tools.
- Choose a default skin tone.
Skin-tone selection also works in search results: hold an emoji that supports skin tones, slide to the tone you want, then release to insert it. Clink remembers that emoji’s selected tone.
Emoji keyboard
Choose horizontal scrolling to set the number of rows, or vertical scrolling to set the number of columns. More rows or columns make each cell smaller; fewer give each emoji more room. Emoji size adjusts the glyph within its cell, and Cell spacing adjusts the gaps. The live preview uses the same emoji panel as the keyboard, so you can check the layout, browse categories, search and try skin tones before typing in another app. Android test builds use their keyboard’s emoji panel here too; preview typing stays in the local try-it field and does not add to recent emoji. Turn off categories you never use to bring the rest closer.

The recent row
The ones you use rise to the front. Clearing the list empties it on the spot, and it starts filling again as you type.

GIFs
Choose a GIF to copy it, then paste it in your conversation. Some apps accept only a link.
Add your own images and GIFs to the keyboard, then drag, pinch, rotate and fade each one into place.
While searching for GIFs in the keyboard, use your language key to switch between enabled Clink languages without leaving the search or clearing your query. The search keyboard follows the selected language’s layout. With Pinyin selected, type a reading such as woaini and choose a Chinese candidate before searching. Space accepts the leading candidate; Return or Done finishes the current reading and searches. Clear search also clears the reading.
